This white paper presents the first publicly available set of third-party validated mechanical property data for MAR-M 247LC nickel-base superalloy produced by metal binder jetting (MBJ). Test specimens were printed on a Desktop Metal Shop System using Continuum Powders’ gas atomized, sustainably produced MAR-M 247LC powder, sintered using AmPd Labs’ proprietary sintering cycle, and tested by an ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited independent laboratory. Results show that binder-jetted MAR-M 247LC achieves ultimate tensile strength within the published range of conventionally cast material while delivering elongation that is 2–4× greater than typical investment castings. The data also show exceptional specimen-to-specimen consistency. Together, these findings establish metal binder jetting as a production-viable pathway for MAR-M 247LC components and a credible alternative to investment casting for complex geometries requiring shorter lead times.
